Pop Up Card Boxes...I have been wanting to make one of these but was a bit hesitant to try.  I used my nephew coming home from the Army to visit over the holidays as incentive.  Well, I'm sorry I waited!! Welcome to December!
I have been working on Picture My Life Pear & Partridge Christmas projects.  I love PML because I can get lots of pictures done in a short amount of time.  Here is a sample:

I even used the pre-made card sets  and PML cards to make some quick Christmas Cards!! Check it out:

Then I went a bit crazy and made some Christmas cards with dryer sheets!!!

This was easy and lots of fun!!!  If you are able to come to one of my gatherings you can make one!  Happy Crafting my friends!!

It is time for the holiday season...and I know you will be capturing MANY pictures of the events you will be attending with your friends and family.  Look ahead to the Upcoming Events on this blog or Gatherings on my website, to set time aside to put them in an album or work online in Studio J without interruption!

I just finished a small completed photo album for a fund raiser.  It is to raise funds for "Kay's Kamp".  It is a place for children to have fun who are dealing with cancer.  Check out the link for more details: "Kay's Kamp"  They are having a golf event this Saturday to raise money for the foundation.  I was honored to complete a camping themed photo album that will be in their silent auction items.  The winner will not only get a hand made with love camping themed photo album that they will only need to add their pictures to, but they will have those memories and photos to reflect upon for a life time.  Isn't that what taking pictures is about?!  Saving and remembering our life events to share now and to future generations :)  Here is a couple of pages for you to see:    THANKS FOR LOOKING!

FUTURE Monthly Crop Club in the works!!

While meeting many fellow crafters this past weekend, I kept being asked to start a monthly crop club!!!  I have set the first date to my home on October 21st!!  Check out the "Upcoming Events" tab for details.  Some notes about the 21st: this will be an overview of what Close To My Heart (CTMH) has to offer and an introduction crop.  On the 21st we can talk about how, we as a group, would like to move forward.  i.e. Certain day of the week, complete projects together, I can teach different craft techniques, etc.

I am working on finding a venue so that if we grow or have weekend events, we will have ample space. ** Currently I only have room for 8 people to crop.  **

I have sitting room if you just want to stop in to here all about it, so bring a friend.  PLEASE, PLEASE rsvp by Friday, November 17th so that I can be ready!
